Samal is general manager at Center for Preparatory Studies. Her job responsibilities here include organization of recruitment process, overseeing over Strategic and Action plans implementation, Bylaws and internal documents development, Faculty renewal process organization, etc.

Prior to joining the Nazarbayev University Samal worked in National Bank of Kazakhstan as a senior HR expert of Training and Development Department; and Eurasian Bank.

She holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the Liverpool University, (UK) and a Bachelor degree in Regional studies from the Eurasian National University (KZ).
